A Peaceful Path
Dr. Evelyn Ivey honors the love you share with your pet and knows how hard it is to say goodbye. By providing peaceful euthanasia at home, she gives comfort to pets and their families when they need it most.
Dr. Ivey is the founder and sole veterinarian for Peace for Pets. For many years, Dr. Ivey has provided in home euthanasia to pets belonging to friends and family. Peace for Pets was founded with the desire to give all pets this same level of love and dignity at the end of life. Dr. Ivey celebrates the bond shared between people and pets, and she knows that preventing suffering is a gift we give to the animals we love.
Dr. Ivey received her veterinary degree from the University of California at Davis in 1996. She completed an internship and specialty training in Avian & Exotic pet medicine at the Animal Medical Center in New York City in 1999. Afterwards, she taught at the Veterinary School of The University of Pennsylvania. Since then, she has worked in private practice, providing compassionate care for healthy, ill, and injured pets of all kinds.
Dr. Ivey earned a certificate in pet loss bereavement counseling from the Association of Pet Loss and Bereavement in 2014.
